Horrible Customer Service - Samsung 40" TV

I have been a very loyal customer of Best Buy and have purchased thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of merchandise via online and in store from Best Buy.

However I placed an order this week on line and paid for expedited shipping. When my package was to be delivered the UPS driver did not leave the package with a note stating that it required signature for delivery.

This is the first time ever that Best Buy has required my signature! Had I known this I would have had the item shipped to my office, rather than my home.
At any rate, I signed the authorization form and left it on my door. The following day UPS again did not deliver the item stating there were restrictions placed on the order and that I had to be there in person to sign for it. the restrictions were placed by Best Buy and could only be changed by the shipper.

I called Best Buy's customer service and the representative was extremely rude. I asked if he could make the change of the 'signature required' restriction and he said he could not. I then asked if he could have my package re-routed to my office address, and again he said he could not help me 'because I was the one to place the order and he therefore could not change the address'. I asked him why this was, as I have (as a shipper) logged onto UPS when I have shipped a package and was completely capable of re-routing a package. He then hung up on me for no reason.

I still can not believe how rude this individual was, when I as a customer have spent money for a product, paid extra to have the item shipped at an expedited manner, only to not be able to receive my package and to have ZERO help from your customer service team.

I feel I should have been notified if there was going to be a restriction for live signature required! If that was the case, I would have had my product go to a different address. As the product in question is a TV, I preferred it to go to my home rather than my office as you can understand. I also recently purchased another TV from you last year - much larger than the one I'm trying to get now, and there was no signature required and the driver was free to leave on my porch. WHY if I'm purchasing a smaller, less expensive TV would there suddenly be a signature required restriction??
I truly don't think I will ever buy another product from their store again.
